Mediation & Arbitration Services

I provide Alternative Dispute Resolution services, including Mediation & Arbitration, as peaceful and effective alternatives to litigation.  

Mediation is a voluntary process that empowers individuals, families, and businesses to resolve their conflicts in a collaborative and constructive way. We provide mediation services to stakeholders in the following types of disputes: workplace, commercial, community, HOAs, consumer, educational, coaching, and family matters. 

Cases can be mediated online or in person. For in person mediations, we typically use The Ranch Office in the Spring Branch area of Houston, The Heights Mediation Center on the Katy Frwy, or The Texas Justice Center for Mediation and Arbitration in Bellaire off I-610 West Loop.

Hourly Rate: 

$300 per hour per mediation, without regard to the nature, amount in controversy, or complexity of the case. This rate is divided by each party. In the event that there are more than two parties, the third and fourth party pays an additional $150 per hour to the base rate of $300. See scheduling and cancellation policy.

Half-Day Rate: 

$450 per party for a maximum of three (3) hours. See scheduling and cancellation policy.

Full-Day Rate:

$1,200 per party, based on eight (8) hours. See cancellation policy.

Overtime: 

If the mediation extends past eight (8) hours for a full-day or three (3) hours for a partial-day, then each party will be charged the hourly fee of $150 as part of the $300 per hour rate. Please be prepared to provide a check at the mediation for overtime fees or bring a credit card to use our PayPal option.

Sliding Scale: 

If this fee schedule needs modification for your case, I am willing to negotiate a more convenient rate. 

Cancellation Policy:

A cancellation fee of $500, or $250 each party, will be charged to the canceling parties for a mediation canceled fourteen (14) days prior to the scheduled mediation date. Otherwise, mediation fees, once paid and scheduled, are non-refundable. If the mediation is rescheduled and conducted, we will apply any funds in excess of the $500 cancellation fee toward the rescheduled mediation. We will make every prudent effort to work with you, your client, and your schedule.

Mediation will not be scheduled until payment is received in full. Venues used for mediation are all handicap and wheelchair accessible.

Arbitration is a form of dispute resolution in which the parties in conflict agree to submit their dispute to a neutral third party whose decision is legally binding and enforceable. 

$650 per party per Arbitration case

Fee policy: Case will not be accepted until both parties have paid the fee in full. Fees, once paid and scheduled, are non-refundable
